What You’ll Do
- Own, maintain, and evolve our house style guide
- Plan and develop title-specific style guides, and review/polish localized content
- Manage a team of freelance translators and editors—including scheduling and deadline coordination
- Ensure consistent quality across multiple content formats (e.g., digital, print)
Must-Have
- 4+ years of professional experience editing fiction using an in-house style guide
- Proven experience in line editing and copyediting following the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS)
- Strong editorial eye for tone, flow, pacing, and character voice
- Comfortable working with explicit content
- Highly organized, communicative, and deadline-oriented
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working with print page spreads
- Familiarity with tools like InDesign, Vellum, or ePub editors
- Enjoy Korean culture and content
Hiring Terms
- Type: Contract
- Location: Remote—Open to candidates worldwide.
- Must be available to collaborate for at least 2 hours per day in Pacific Time (PT).
- Estimated Hours: 20–40 hours per week
