Requirements
For the May–June 2025 hiring round, we’re specifically looking for someone with:
- Experience editing historical Danmei or Wuxia titles
- Familiarity with adaptation or line editing processes
- (Nice to have) Basic comfort with Chinese characters—you are confident searching them online when needed. There’s no need to read or write them!
What You’ll Do
- Polish translated manuscripts so they read smoothly in English, while keeping each story’s distinct voice and tone
- Collaborate with translators and project managers to build consistent Ko→En terminology
- Research historical references and cultivation vocab for contextual accuracy
Most of our projects are long-running, so we’re looking for someone who can commit for at least a year.
