Have you ever read a Korean BL novel and thought: “Damn, this is too fun to be just in Korean”? You’re not alone. Join other fujoshis who are making great BL stories available to a global audience.
What You’ll Do
- Translate and localize Korean text into English.
- Capture each character’s unique voice and charm while adapting the dialogue and prose for an English-speaking audience.
- Creatively bridge the differences between Korean and English prose styles (e.g., using dialogue tags effectively).
Requirements
- No prior experience is required, but be ready for a challenging test—it’s tough by design.
- Many of our titles are adult romance with mature content, so comfort with smutty scenes and strategic word choices is a must.
Hiring Terms
- Type: Freelance, project-based role
- Location: Remote. Open to candidates worldwide.
- Compensation: Korean character-count based
